We as Sintrex then act as a Fiscal Agent and pay the VAT or Import duties. It seems that we work as an Importer but only act as an intermediary. The goods are then released into free circulation and not under customs supervision as before.
For the flow of goods within the EU, Sintrex takes care of the so-called "Intrastat declarations" for customers. These are also declarations, but they concern the Intra-Community deliveries between the EU Member States. These declarations are submitted monthly in arrears on the basis of commercial invoices. We do the same in Germany, by the way.
